I am pleased to say that I have managed to organise a fly-in for Composite-ARF owners on Sunday May 20th at my club, Bickley Model Flying Club in the South East of England near Jct 3 of the M25. A downside to the large cavernous composite fuselages is the large void under so many of the canopies out there! Why not use one of these great kits to transform your model. I will be building Ali Machinchy's demo model, a 3m Extra 260 in Yellow Kiwi scheme. The kit should be with me by Friday 16th June. The build schedule is quite tight so keep an eye out for regular updates to the thread!

Composite-ARF are pleased to announce their brand new sport jet for Spring 2006, the "FLASH".

Designed for the extremely popular range of 8-12Kg thrust turbines, the FLASH answers the pleas for a sport jet with the kit and flying qualities of its bigger brother, the Lightning, but in a smaller package. With a wingspan of 164cm Comp-ARF have answered the call perfectly!

Production should start around the middle of May 2006 so make sure you contact me as soon as possible to ensure you are one of the first few lucky customers to get hold of one! For more information, click here

Probably one of the best kept secrets for some time!! Composite-ARF are delighted to announce their new 3m aerobatic model, the MX2. Probably the best introduction to the 3m size aircraft around as the model does not need the full power of the usual 150cc engines (although it is superb with this power!) so can be powered by the newer breed of 100-120cc engines yet still retain excellent performace and very light wing loadings. Following the success of the Jolly Roger scheme on our Lightning we are pleased to announce the new Jolly Roger EuroSport scheme! The bright orange wing tips and underside make this mainly grey pseudo military scheme show up amazing well in any colour sky!

Composite-ARF model are pleased to announce their 2006 fly-in is to take place at a beautiful flying site about 1 hour drive south of Frankfurt, Germany, over the holiday weekend of 25 - 28 May. I am pleased to announce that the custom scheme I designed for my own Lightning has gone down so well with people that the factory have decided to put the scheme into production!

The scheme is a pseudo miltary scheme based upon the "Jolly Roger" Naval aircraft. The bright orange wing/tail tips and underside help alleviate the visibility problems I found on previous models in grey tone military schemes - you'll have no problem seeing this model! Check out how great it looks here

Add some rivet detailing and some weathering and you could end up with a pretty convincing scale looking model!!
